Event Details This halo is a faint and slow. No EIT data. Ha image is only one at 97/01/06 08:50(MEUDON). Movie of He_10830 image (MLSO) is 97/01/06 17:35-22:44. From SXT movie, we see a loop-brightning (A1,~15:00) at S18E06 (This location is noted at Webb et al. 1998). But there is not clear signature of eruptive filament from Ha and He_10830 images. This halo is a famous CME as a first SOHO A-class helo. Many researchers carefully studied this CME already. Then a frontside is not doubtful.
