Multiple sources consist of EP (N45W10), AR 8115, and AR 8113. All signatures located in the same neutral line. At first EP occured. We can see faint two ribbons observed by SXT. Subsequently large arcades at AR 8115 and AR 8113 appeared after about 4 hours later. Maximum X-ray intensity is B8.4 at 12:27 on 1997/12/06. For LASCO image, CME inclued at least two loop signatures. Therefore we decieded that CME came from multiple sources but main region of CME was EP.

Thanks for sending your active region identifications to us. For the past couple of days, Seiji, Hong, Pertti, Sachiko and me were reviewing all the CDAW events. We mostly agree. The disagreement seems to be mostly regarding filament eruption events (marked EP) in the Table. The active region you identifies for the EP events are generally located at one end of the filament. Here are some specific events where there was disagreement and what we found.
#3 We marked EP and you have AR 8115
When you run EIT movie, it is clear that the filament eruption occurs first. There is even a cusp-like feature above the filament region. AR 8115 is located at the southwest end of the filament and did show some loop structure several hours later. Therefore, we think the EP is still the better source candidate.

Yes, the EP seems to come first, but you cannot ignore significant flux emergence at AR 8115, corresponding to the southwestern end of the filament. But if you look at the SXT movie (specify all the images between say, 8 UT and 15 UT on 6-Dec-1997, you will get 15 of them), the post eruption arcade is the big but probably decayed region AR 8113. This may be a constraint when you compare the ICME magnetic field with solar.
Yellow contours are eruptive filament and neutral lines located on AR 8115 and AR 8113.
