Subject: Backsided HALO CME 2000/12/28

A full halo CME event was observed in Lasco this morning. First frame in
C2 begins at 12:30 UT as a bright full 360 degree front at all position
angles.
This event determined as a BACKSIDED CME. This event is very noticable in
the real time movies and therefore a notice is sent to verify the
direction as a backsided event.
