LASCO and EIT observed another full halo CME on 2000/11/25. This event was
first seen in C2 at 19:31 UT as a bright front over the W limb. It was
later visible as a full halo, although it remained fainter in the E. The
measured speed in the plane of the sky was 596 km/s at PA 270 (W limb).
EIT observed an X1.9 flare and associated dimming from AR 9236, located at
N21 W18. The EIT event began at about 18:48 UT.
Images and movies of this event are available at the LASCO ftp server:

Best wishes,
Simon Plunkett.
