LASCO and EIT observed a full halo CME on 2000/11/25. The event was first
seen in C2 at 09:30 Ut, as a bright front over the W limb. It was later
visible at all position angles, although it remained faint in the E. The
measured plane of the sky speed was 610 km/s at PA 300 (NW limb).
EIT observed a M3.5 flare, with associated dimming, from AR 9236, located
at N21 W12. The EIT event began at about 09:12 UT.
Images and movies of this event are available at the LASCO ftp server:

Best wishes,
Simon Plunkett.
