The second of two events on 2000/10/02.
Faint full HALO CME event. Event observed in both
EIT and LASCO instruments.

LASCO and EIT observed two (2) full halo CMEs on, 2000/10/02. Using
the NOAA coding there will be two separate alert messages. We appologize
for the alert message delay.
The second event was visible in C2 at 20:26 UT as a faint loop front with
material at all position angles. The speeds through the C2 and C3 fields
averaged to 525 km/second, measured at PA 185 degrees.
EIT observed a brightening which appears to be with a cme at 20:00-21:12
UT near central meridian in the southern hemispere from AR9176 at location
[S7.3; E4.6]. This may be associated to the HALO CME event seen in LASCO.
