The second of two events today, 2000/09/15.
Faint full HALO CME event. Observed in both
EIT and LASCO instruments.

LASCO and EIT observed two (2) full halo CMEs today, 2000/09/15. Using
the NOAA, ISES CME coding there will be two separate alert messages.

The second event was visible in C2 at 15:06 UT as a faint loop front with
material at all position angles.  The speeds through the C2 and C3 fields
averaged to 467 km/second, measured at PA 220 degrees. 

EIT observed a flare at 14:36-15:00 UT near disk center in AR 9165 at
location [N14;  E2.2]. GOES shows a M2 X-ray flare at 14:29 UT from AR
9165. This flare is probably associated to the HALO CME event seen in
LASCO.
