Subject: Two Full Halo CMEs on 2002/07/18, both backsided
Status: O
LASCO observed two fast bright full halo CMEs on 2002/07/18.
The first first appeared in C2 at 11:42 UT and the second
at 19:31 UT. In both cases there is clear evidence in the
EIT running difference movies that the CMEs were backsided.
Both were presumably associated with the same active region
that yielded the major backsided event on 2002/07/16, which
we can expect to rotate over the E limb early next week.
