Subject: Full Halo CME on 2001/10/20, most probably backsided
Status: O
LASCO observed a fast, bright full halo CME on 2001/10/20. A bright
front spanned about 250 deg around C2's occulting disk at 02:26 UT,
and full coverage of the disk was evident by 02:50 UT.
The EIT data prior to this time shows only very low-level activity,
and at timings that do not coincide particularly well with the onset
of the CME in LASCO. Therefore, this event has been determined
backsided.
Best wishes,
Gareth Lawrence.
