EIT and Lasco observed a full HALO CME on 2001/09/11. The event was first
seen in Lasco C2 begining at 14:45 UT as a bright edge over the East limb
and later showing a faint edge of material at all position angles. The
event came visible in C3 by 15:18 UT. The speed remained constant through
both fields giving averaged plane-of-sky velocity of 703km/sec measured at
angle 75 degrees.
EIT saw a filament activation/eruption located [N12.4; E29] along the
north transition line of decaying AR9615. This eruption beginning
at 13:48-15:12 UT followed by a bright arcade of post loops till 18:30 UT.
This event is probably associated with the halo CME in Lasco.
