Subject: Backsided full halo CME on 2001/03/28
Status: O
LASCO obsereved a full halo CME early on 2001/03/28. A bright
loop front was first visible over the E at 02:27 UT and the C2
occulting disk was fully surrounded by 02:50. Following inspection
of EIT and X-ray data this event had been determined backsided.
A later event, first seen in C2 at 12:50 UT on 2001/03/28 and
still visible in LASCO, has been determined frontsided. A
detailed analysis of the data is in progress, and images and
movies will appear shortly.
